The Working: A Devotional Candle Ritual & Prayer Service
This is a devotional candle ritual rooted in my spiritual practice as a hoodoo practitioner and what I was taught by my grandmother growing up. Candles have always been a staple in my life, and my family used to move energy, open doors, and create sacred space.
The Working is a private prayer ritual where I speak your name, hold your petition in intentional prayer, and light a candle on the day of the week you were born, not your actual birthday. This aligns the ritual with your natural energetic rhythm, not just the day you happen to book.
This is the same ritual work I’ve done quietly for years for myself, for my one-on-one clients, and for those who’ve worked with me spiritually over time. After going back and forth with one of my mentors, I’ve decided to offer this publicly in limited quantities each month.
What You’ll Receive:
A 7-day devotional candle dressed and lit in your name
The ritual is performed on the day of the week you were born, not your actual birth day or the booking date. (Meaning if you were born on a Wednesday and you purchase on a Friday, it will be lit that following Wednesday.)
A photo of your candle once the burn is complete
A short written message with anything that came through during the burn
And, if I’m guided, a single card pull on your behalf
This isn’t about performance or theatrics. This is sacred work. It’s for people who feel connected to this kind of support and want someone to help carry the weight when they’re tired or unsure of what to do next.
